Chuckery AC, Woodside Pool

Thirteen anglers attended this latest Chuckery AC club match held on Woodside pool. Conditions overnight were, once again, awful with high winds and torrential rain lowering water temperatures.

Winner on the day was Ken Hicks (jnr), who drew peg 10 on the point of the island. Fishing both pellet and caster on the long pole at 13m, Ken found mostly carp to offer 34-07-00 to the scales.

Arnie Woolhouse finished in second place with a level 24lbs.

Third place was secured by Simon Bates from peg 17 on the dam wall. Opting to fish corn on the pole both short and long, Simon weighed in 23-06-00 at the end of the five hours.
