Twelve anglers from Heta AC attended this Sunday contest held on Woodside pool. Conditions on the day were made difficult on account of a strong cold wind hampering efforts on the pole.
Winner on the day was Stuart Campbell, who drew peg 16 on the dam wall. Opting to fish the pellet feeder on his pole line at 11.5m, Stuart found mainly carp to weigh in a level 55lbs and confirm a comfortable victory.
Finishing in runner-up spot was Barry Chessom on peg 13. Fishing pole and pellet at 12m, Barry again found mainly carp to end the day with 41-13-00.
Rob Campbell took third place with 28-14-08 fishing pole and pellet short at just 4m to finish narrowly ahead of Richard Green who ended proceedings with 28-12-08 from peg 14. Rich caught on corn fished short at 8m.
