Old Hill Labour Club, Island Pool

A decent turn out saw sixteen anglers line the banks of Island pool for this Sunday club match.

Winner on the day was Roy Boswell, who drew peg 20 close to smaller of the two islands. Fishing worm and caster in the margins, Roy found odd quality carp to weigh in 46-14-00.

Second place was taken by John Tibbits (peg unknown). Fishing pellet and corn on the pole in open water, John found 38-14-00 of mainly small carp.

Cedric Thursfield finished in third place from fancied peg 26. Fishing meat on the waggler, Cedric finished the match with 34-13-00.
