Ten (10) anglers attended this Sunday club match on Woodside pool for Metal Closures AC. Conditions on the day were very warm with lots of sunshine bringing fish up the water and into the margins.
Topping the field with a superb 124-09-00 was Vaughn Graham. Vaughn drew fancied peg 3 on the point of the island and fished the pellet waggler to find carp in numbers to leave the rest of the field for dead!
Kim Hunter finished in second place from peg 1. Fishing meat short on just his top kit, Kim found odd carp patrolling the inside shelf to weigh in 45-12-00.
Geoff Walton took third place from peg 21. Geoff found most of his fish down his inside on corn to offer 45-03-00 to the scales.
Fourth on the day was Mike Davis, who drew peg 13 on the dam wall. Again, fishing corn short on just his top kit, Mike found odd carp to weigh in 42-09-00.
Apart from the winning weight, not a massive amount of fish gracing the bank, but weights were close none the less.
