Matrix AC, Island Pool

Thirteen (13) anglers from Matrix AC attended this Saturday club booking on Island pool. Conditions on the day started off very wet with persistent heavy rain. By midday, however, the rain eased off and the sun made an appearance.

Winner on the day was S. Atkins on peg 26. Fishing pole and pellet long at 16m over to the island he found some quality fish to offer a final 70-02-00 at the end of the five hours.

Second place was taken by M. Brookes with 46-02-00. Starting his match fishing pole and pellet, then later switching to his edge with maggot, he finished the day with 46-02-00.

Rounding off the top three on the day was P. Homer, who weighed in 36-14-00.
