Just six (6) anglers attended this latest Saturday match on Woodside pool for Portway AC. Conditions on the day were a little mixed to say the least with heavy rain making for a very wet start. However, as the day wore on, the sun made an appearance.
Winner on the day was Richard Bedder from peg 8 close to the island. Fishing corn and pellet in the margins, Richard found all carp to offer an impressive 114-00-00 to the scales to win the match by a massive margin leaving the rest of the field trailing.
Finishing in second place was Ben Hanson, who drew peg 3. Fishing pellet and maggot over to the island, Ben found odd small carp to end the match with 38-02-00.
Phil Peeler took third place (peg unknown) with a weight of 26-06-00.
