Fourteen (14) anglers from Willenhall AC attended this Sunday club match on Island pool. Conditions on the day were extremely difficult with strong winds battering the complex and hampering best efforts. That said, weights recorded on the day weren't too bad.
Topping the field was Andy Randle, who drew peg 20. Despite strong cross winds, Andy managed to find odd carp up in the water fishing pole and pellet before switching to his edge late on with dead red maggots to weigh in 56-08-00 to seal a narrow victory.
Roger Waters finished close behind weighing in 50-14-00 from peg 10. Roger caught the majority of his fish from down his edge to corn and 8mm expanders to see off the challenge from third placed Brian Biddle.
Brian drew peg 19 and opted to fish corn and meat on the pole to offer 38-10-00 to the scales.
