Thirteen (13) anglers from the Wyre Forest attended this Sunday contest on Woodside pool.
Winner on the day with a superb 162-11-00 was Mat Powell, who drew peg 3. Fishing the pellet waggler with 6mm banded pellet feeding 4mm pellets over the top, Mat found carp in numbers early on before switching to the pole, again offering pellet up in the water, to add to his tally.
Second place was taken by Steve Todd from peg 8. Fishing meat down his edge for most of the match whilst feeding corn and pellet, Steve found some quality fish to end the day with 77-12-00.
Stuart Campbell finished in third place from peg 14 on the dam wall with 52-10-00. Fishing meat shallow at 14.5m, Stuart found some quality fish to finish just ahead of Mike Groves.
Mike drew peg 10 on the point of the island and caught on corn long over to the island before looking down his inside late on to weigh in 52-03-00.
