Twelve (12) anglers from Salt Marsh AC attended this Saturday club match on the Island pool.
Winner on the day with 79-11-00 was Tony Johnson. Tony drew peg 7 on the dam wall and caught the majority of his weight from down his edge on pellet.
Tony Davis finished in second place from peg 19. Again, offering 6mm expander pellets down his inside accounted for most of his fish for a final 62-08-00.
Third place was taken by Steven Groves. Steve opted to buck the trend and offered both meat and corn instead down his margins to end the day with 57-01-00.
Roy Moles finished in fourth place from peg 12 offering 52-04-00 to the scales. Roy started his match fishing pellet on the feeder before looking down his inside late on with corn to find some late bonus fish.
