Fifteen (15) anglers from newcomers, God Of Rods AC, lined the banks of Woodside pool for this latest club match. Conditions on the day were overcast, but temperatures remained relatively mild.
Winner on the day was Ken Pitts, who drew peg 14 on the dam wall. Corn down the edge accounted for most of his fish, with Ken finishing the day with 52-12-00 of carp.
Second place was awarded to Anthony Tez, who drew corner peg 7 by the lily pads. Starting his match on the feeder over to the island, Tony found carp before switching to his edge late on with maggot over fishery micros to weigh in 43-15-00.
John Morris finished in third place from peg 18 with 30-07-00 of mainly carp taken on corn fished down his edge.
