Nine (9) anglers from Pole Pushers AC attended this Sunday club match held on Woodside Pool.
Winner on the day was Guy Jones from peg 11. Guy caught most of his fish down his inside on maggot taking carp, some quality silvers and big perch to weigh in a final 34-00-00.
Finishing in second place was Terry Eardley from peg 21. Starting his match on a pellet feeder over to the island, Terry found off fish patrolling the far margin before switching to his edge line late on with dead maggot to find three (3) decent carp. Terry weighed 19-10-00 come the end of the match.
Third place went to Mel Boulds, who drew peg 8. Mel took an early carp on the method feeder to the island with corn before his bites dried up. A switch to corn both short and down his edge produced odd carp with maggot helping to put silver fish in the net during quiet spells. Mel finished with 14-04-00.
