Sedgeley AC, Woodside Pool

Fourteen (14) anglers attended this latest club match on Woodside pool for Sedgeley AC. Conditions on the day started off overcast with plenty of cloud cover but, as the day wore on, the clouds made way for plenty of sunshine.

Winner on the day was William Bull, who drew peg 3 close to the point of the island. Fishing paste for most of the match at top two plus two, Willie was able to find a good average stamp of fish before moving down his edge late on to find a handful of late fish. Upon the scales making their way round, Willie confirmed a weight of 70-02-00.

Mick Barker finished in second place from peg 7 with 47-08-00. Alternating between paste and 8mm pellet hook baits over fishery micros, Mick found mainly carp with a handful of silvers to confirm his place in the mainframe.

Third place on the day was taken by Kevin Dudley, who drew peg 16. Fishing corn over pellet down his edge, Kevin found all carp to weigh in 37-12-00.
