A large turnout saw nineteen anglers from Wordsley Lions attend this Sunday club match on Woodside pool. As expected, weights were lower than normal with nearly every peg in.
Finishing in first place was Dave Bowyer. The former match weight record holder fished pole and pellet for most of the match to end proceedings with 50-08-00 of mostly carp to nearly double the weight of the nearest challenger.
Mick Jones finished runner-up with 28-02-00.
Third place on the day was Jack Bailey with 24-02-00.
