A good turn out for the Cradley Heath labour club saw anglers pegged across both main match lakes for this Saturday contest. Conditions on the day were extremely hot and sticky with temperatures touching 30 degrees coupled with very little wind.
Winner on Woodside pool was Mark Farley. Fishing a method feeder over to the island, Mark found all carp to weigh in a match-winning 48-08-00.
Finishing close behind in second place on the day was Richie Owen. Richie caught the majority of his fish down his edge on paste to end proceedings with 44-08-00.
Rounding off the top three on Woodside pool was Paul Skidmore. Paul opted to fish pellet and corn to find small carp in numbers to offer 43-12-00 to the scales at the end of the five hours.
