Eleven (11) anglers attended this first open match of the new season held across both Woodside and Island pools. The vast majority of the field had qualified for the Match Angler Of The Year final, which was due to take place the following weekend, so it served as the perfect practice opportunity for those involved. Conditions for this third and latest round saw a significant improvement in the weather with temperatures making it into double-figures and a welcome warm breeze creating a decent ripple.
