Eleven anglers from the Waters Edge AC attended this latest match on Island pool. Conditions on the day were pleasant with plenty of sunshine around making things feel quite warm considering the time of year.
Winner on the day and topping the field was Ken Sheriff, who drew fancied peg 24 close to the islands. Fishing corn short at just 3m for the full five hours, Ken found carp willing to get their heads down and feed to weigh in a level 79lbs and confirm a comfortable win.
Paul Symonds finished in runner-up spot from peg 16 on the opposite bank. Starting his match on the pellet feeder, Paul later switched to his margins and offered corn on the hook to take 49-04-00 of mainly carp.
Third placed Chrick Shuck ended proceedings with 30-02-00 of small carp taken on his short line to corn.
