Halfway House AC, Woodside Pool

A wet and fairly miserable start greeted anglers from Halfway House AC on this latest Saturday club match on Woodside pool.

Winner on the day was Mark Bates. With most of the match behind him, Mark like many, was struggling for bites. However, a switch to his margins late on with maggot paid dividends after finding a number of small carp down his edge to weigh in 28-02-00.

Finishing in second place was Gary Owen. Offering meat short at top two and two, Gary found odd carp to offer 25-00-00 to the scales.

Third placed Keith Bates finished proceedings with 22-12-00 of carp caught on pole and pellet at 11m.
