Central Trains AC, Woodside Pool


With temperatures plummeting overnight to just above freezing, coupled with bright sunshine for the duration of the match made for difficult conditions on this latest club match on Woodside pool.

Winner on the day was Jim Clewes, who drew peg 8 close to the island beneath the oak trees. Fishing maggot down his inside, Jim found mostly carp to weigh in 45-09-00 to top the field by a comfortable margin.

Second placed Dean Siggers managed 25-12-00 from unfancied peg 23. Fishing chopped worm and caster for the duration of the match Dean caught most of his fish down in his margins.

Third place on the day was taken by Dean Evans. Offering bread bunch, Dean ended the match with 25-08-00.
