Ten anglers fished this final round of the Steven's Tackle winter league on Woodside pool. Mild conditions made for a very fair conclusion to the series.
Winner on the day Chris Carey from peg 21 with an all carp net taken on mainly waggler with corn at 20m and a few bonus edge fish also falling to corn to weigh in 57lb 6oz.
Second place was taken by Shaun cash from peg 13 with, again, an all carp net taken fishing waggler towards the island with corn and long pole with corn and caster. Shaun weighed in 57lb 2oz.
Third on the day was Chris Standing from peg 1 with a mainly carp net with a few skimmers and roach. Chris caught odd fish on long pole with pellets with the bulk of his weight coming down his long left hand edge thanks largely to some quality fish falling to corn to weigh 53lb 2 oz.
Fourth placed Jason Attwell (peg 3) finished with an all carp net taken at 14.5m towards the island fishing corn and pellets to offer 52lb 8oz to the scales.
Fifth on the day was Bryan Burley, who weighed in 48lb 8oz from peg 17. Bryan caught three carp on maggot feeder, three carp to bomb and bread and seven fish to long pole and corn. This made for an interesting final league standing.
