Ten (10) anglers from Metal Closures AC turned out for their latest contest here at Woodside. Island pool has been in good form of late with with the resident carp showing well. However, despite recent form and the continued settled spell of weather we're enjoying, weights on the day were a little lower than expected.
Graham Poulton finished top of the field from peg 19 with 59-04-00 of carp all taken on meat fished down his inside.
Finishing close behind in second place was Kim Hunter from peg 13. Again, fishing meat down his inside accounted for most of his 51-08-00.
Third placed Bob Bennett weighed in 46-09-00 from peg 15 fishing corn in the margins.
