Seven anglers from newcomers Adams AC attended this club match on the Island pool.
Winner on the day was Ken James, who drew fancied peg 15 on the point of the island. Opting to fish the method feeder down his edge and alternating between corn and maggot hookbaits, Ken found 63-02-00 of mainly small carp to win by a narrow margin.
Second place was taken by Steve Crutch from neighbouring peg 14. Again, fishing the method feeder down his edge with maggot, Steve found carp and some good quality skimmers to offer 60-09-00 to the scales.
Third place went to Tony Green on peg 2. Most of Tony's catch came from down his edge to corn and pellet for a final weigh of 50-12-00.
