Metal Closures AC, Island Pool

A small turnout saw just four (4) anglers from Metal Closures attend this latest Sunday club match held on Island pool. Conditions on the day were much cooler than in recent days with heavy showers also making an appearance.

Winner on the day was Graham Poulton, who drew peg 2. Fishing paste down his edge for most of the match, Graham found carp in numbers to weigh in an impressive 103-00-00.

Finishing in second place was Kevin Round from peg 14. Like Graham, Kevin went for an all out margin assault and found mainly carp with some decent skimmer bream to boot giving him a final weigh of 71-00-00.

Finishing close behind in third place was Fred Westwood from peg 3. Opting to fish pellet short and down his edge, Fred caught mostly carp to offer 70-06-00 to the scales.
