Thirteen (13) anglers from newcomers White Horse AC attended this club fixture held on Woodside pool.
Winner on the day was Andy Bennett, who drew in form peg 6 in the corner by the pads. Opting to fish corn down his edge for most of the match, Andy was able to get among some quality fish to end the match with 61-15-00 to secure a narrow victory.
Finishing close behind in second place from neighbouring peg 5 was Adrian Childs. Adrian fished the first half of the match with maggot on the long pole over to the island before switching to his edge late on, again with maggot, to end the day with 58-06-00.
Third place went to Andrew Brayley, who drew peg 13 on the dam wall. Offering caster shallow for most of the match, Andy got off to a great start, but lost the fish towards the end of the match, but still managed to hold on to a mainframe finish putting 43-11-00 onto the scales at the end of five hours.
